Today's guest is not only saving thyroids from surgery, but she's also  training the physicians of tomorrow. Dr. Julia Noel is an assistant  professor of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at Stanford Medicine. Together, with her colleague Dr. Lisa Orloff, they brought thyroid RFA to this prestigious institution, and they've been saving thyroids for  well over a year now. Today, we'll discuss some of those wins, as well  as dispel some common myths about radiofrequency ablation for thyroid  nodules.
