Dr. Catherine Sinclair is no stranger to being a ground breaker. In 2019, she performed the first thyroid RFA in the state of New York, at Mount Sinai Hospital. But by 2021, she found herself relocating to her native country of Australia. Once there, she spearheaded the creation of another thyroid RFA program, the first and only of its kind in Australia, located in Melbourne. In today's episode, you'll hear the story of how she did that in the midst of a pandemic, and learn more about this procedure that is helping Aussies shrink their thyroid nodules without surgery.
